Shekhinah Clinic is a free clinic that caters to the poor and destitute in Tamale (located in the Northern Region), the surrounding areas and also welcomes people from all over the country, Ghana, purely for the love of God and neighbour and are absolutely free. The clinic also has a food program that provides nutritional lunch to over 150 natives in and around the Tamale area.

Shekhinah Clinic volunteers cater to approximately 60-75 patients each day, with 30 of the patients being new patients that the clinic has probably never treated before in the Out Patient Department (OPD) and the rest are follow-ups. Patients are advised to come a day early for appointment. Mr Majeed and Mr Kwame handle consultations while triaging and check-ins are done by Ms Zulaigha and Ms Mufida. Additionally, the clinic also gains assistance during certain times from the months from a retired British physician, Dr Turner, who has been providing his services for 20 + years. Currently, on Tuesdays and Thursdays; a volunteer physician ( Dr Alhassan from Tamale Teaching Hospital) performs free surgery on six chosen patients per day who have been assessed on a “first come, first served” basis by Mr Hardi. Twice a year, we are honoured to have a Canadian based and trained physician, Dr Kirby, who performs surgeries five days/ week for a month or two, for free. Dr Kirby has been providing his services for 20+ years now. Lastly, any patient who needs a prescription for medication is usually able to get free medication from the clinic, unless the clinic does not have the prescribed medication. The clinic provides free medication to 30+ patients a day.
